In the short story The Tragedy at Marsdon Manor, Marsdon Manor is a manor house which was the home of Mr Maltravers and his wife. The manor is located about a mile from the village of Marsdon Leigh which is in Essex. This is consistent with the fact that to get there, Poirot and Hastings took a Great Eastern Railway train from London Liverpool Street.
Portrayals[]
In the ITV's 1991 adaptation of the story, Sennowe Park in Norfolk was used as the filming location of Marsdon Manor.[1]
