In the novella The Mystery of the Spanish Chest, Margharita Clayton is the wife of Arnold Clayton. The pair live at Cardigan Gardens, just off Sloane Street.
Margharita Clayton is a reworking if the character Marguerita Clayton from The Mystery of the Baghdad Chest, the short story from which the novella was expanded.
