In the short story Problem at Pollensa Bay, Mac's Bar is a bar in Pollença. According to the text, Mac's Bar had an atmosphere typical of the town which had an artist's colony. "Young men in berets with rather long hair held forth in 'Mac's Bar' on such subjects as plastic values and abstraction in art."
