Mabel West is a non-canonical character who is the main protagonist in the Japanese anime television series Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple. Mabel is the grand-niece of Jane Marple, being the daughter of Marple's nephew Raymond West, and works as a junior assistant to famed Belgium detective Hercule Poirot in London. In between cases, she also spends time living with her great aunt, Miss Marple, in St. Mary Mead where she also becomes involved in her cases. Mabel is usually accompanied by her pet duckling Oliver.
In the series, Mabel is voiced by Japanese actress Fumiko Orikasa.

Mabel is a kind and good-natured person, with a sharp intellect and an insatiable curiosity. She has a youthful energy and positive outlook compared to her reserved great-aunt and the meticulous Poirot. She shows great enthusiasm when she's assisting either one in a case.
