In the authorised Miss Marple continuation short story The Murdering Sort, Lucretia Westover is the second wife of Alan Westover. She is the stepmother of Sarah and Harry. She is described as "a failed actress" but is nonetheless glamourous, not very easy to be when married to Alan, who is almost destitute compared to his wealthy father and brother.
