
Love from a Stranger is a 1947 American film directed by Richard Whorf and starring John Hodiak and Sylvia Sidney.
It is a remake of the 1937 film Love From A Stranger, which was based on the play of the same name , which in turn was adapted from the short story Philomel Cottage by Agatha Christie .
The film is also known as A Stranger Walked In in the United Kingdom.
