Longwood Close is one of the streets in The Development in St. Mary Mead. It is mentioned in the novel The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side. It was one of the many streets in the housing estate, all of which were called "close", somewhat to Miss Marple's annoyance because, in her opinion, they were not true closes. She had stayed at the Cathedral Close in Chichester and she knew what a close was.
