In the novel The Mysterious Affair at Styles, Leastways Cottage is a house in Styles St. Mary. Hercule Poirot lived there with six other Belgian refugees when he first arrived in England. According to Poirot, the house had been made available to them "by the generosity of that good Mrs. Inglethorp.

In the 1990 ITV adaptation of The Mysterious Affair at Styles, a house next to Bridge House in the village of Easton Grey, Wiltshire, is used as the filming location of Leastways Cottage.
