Lady Somerset is a non-canonical character who was created for the ITV's 2010 adaptation of The Secret of Chimneys. She was one of the guests at a house party at the Chimneys held in 1932, some 23 years before the main events in the episode. During the house party, Lady Somerset's gemstone, the Mysore Diamond was stolen, an event which ended Lord Caterham's diplomatic career. In this adaptation, Lady Somerset is the godmother of George Lomax. In the opening scene, Lady Somerset is seen dancing with the young Lomax. Lady Somerset has a fair amount of screen time but no lines and the actress who portrayed her is not credited.
