In the Parker Pyne short story The Case of the Distressed Lady, Lady Naomi Dortheimer is the wife of Sir Reuben Dortheimer. Her platinum ring with a solitaire diamond was the target of a theft. Fortunately, Parker Pyne saw through the plot and prevented it. She went to the Red Admiral, where "Jules" had requested a dance with her.

From what Daphne St John told Pyne, they had apparently gone to the same school togheter. Daphne says that where money or jewellry is concerned, Naomi is "hard as nails".
