In the short story The Unbreakable Alibi, Lady Aileen Montgomery is the mother of Montgomery Jones who is the client of Tommy and Tuppence in the story. Tuppence knew something about Lady Aileen, having heard about her from her friend Janet St Vincent. Lady Aileen was described as "very crusty and high-church, with gold crosses and things" and she had apparently married a very wealthy Mr Jones. Lady Aileen does not appear in the story in person and is mentioned only.
