In the novel One, Two, Buckle My Shoe, King Leopold Mansions is a residential building by Battersea Park in London. The dead body of Mabelle Sainsbury Seale was found in flat 45, which was owned by Albert Chapman. Since the face of the body had been smashed, it was first believed to be the body of Sylvia Chapman. Mrs Merton, an acquaintance of Mrs Chapman, lives in flat number 82.

In ITV's 1992 adaptation of the novel, King Leopold Mansions is replaced by the appropriately Art Deco styled Lichfield Court in Richmond, used under its real name.
