Kevin Whately OBE (born 6 February 1951) is an English actor. He is best known for starring as Detective Sergeant/Detective Inspector Robbie Lewis in the long-running ITV crime drama Inspector Morse (1987-2000) and its spin-off Lewis (2006-2015). He also played Neville Hope in the ITV/BBC dramedy Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983-86, 2002-2004).
