In the stage play Go Back for Murder, Justin Fogg is a solicitor at the firm Fogg, Fogg, Bamfylde & Fogg. He is in his earlie thirties.
At the time of the trial against Caroline Crale, the then eighteen year old Justin was going up to Oxford. Since his father worked for the defence, he heard much about the case.
Despite his name the character of Justin Fogg is partly a rewriting of the character George Mayhew (and not of the character Quentin Fogg) from the novel Five Little Pigs, from which the stage play is adapted. Mr Fogg has also taken over the role Hercule Poirot has in the novel.
