In Murder Party, the French Télévisions film adaptation of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced, for the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie TV series, Josette Bianconi is the parallel of the character Myrna Harris in the original novel. Here she is a worker (probably a receptionist) at "La Voix du Nord", the newspaper where Alice Avril is a reporter.
Early in the episode, Josette (also known as Josie) wants to talk to Alice about Kurt but Alice is too busy rushing off to Leticia Salvan's ranch to cover the story there. It does not register with Alice that the "Kurt" Josie is referring to is Kurt Wengen, the person who had been shot at the ranch.
Later, Josette calls the office of commissaire Laurence. The commissaire is not in but Alice recognises Josie and takes the call. Josie tells her that Kurt Wengen was her friend. He had asked her to place the "murder party" advert in the party. He thought it was a big joke. He seemed very happy and told Josie he would buy her a new dress with the money. Josie said Kurt was not a mean person and would not have wanted to harm anyone. He had paid for the advert. There was something strange, Josie observed, but she did not get to finish the sentence as she was knocked on the head and killed during the call.
The character of Josette Bianconi was played by Marion Zaboïtzeff.
