In Jeux de glaces, the TV film adaptation of Agatha Christie's They do it with Mirrors by France Télévisions, Jimmy White is the parallel of Walter Hudd in the original novel. Jimmy is the husband of Juliette who in this adaptation is the adopted daughter of Rose-Marie Bousquet, the Carrie Louise Serrocold parallel. Jimmy White is portrayed by Shane Woodward.
Like in the original, he is American and in this case he is a garage mechanic who dreams of setting up his own garage business in America. Like in the original, he and Juliette met and married without knowing much about each other although how they met is not explained. Antonin Lambert tries to romance Juliette and tells her that Jimmy has no class, no wealth and not even any ambition. At first the flirtatious Juliette appears to respond to Antonin, but she later shows that she loved Jimmy. At the end of the show, she asks Jimmy to take her home (meaning to America). The revolver which Léonard Jeandel used to threaten Etienne Bousquet belongs to Jimmy. However this is not the gun used to kill Pierre Montauban. That gun is an automatic with a silencer which Alice later finds hidden in a piano stool.
