Jennifer Jane Saunders (born 6 July 1958) is an English actress, comedian, singer and screenwriter. She is best known for starring with her comedy partner Dawn French in the sketch series French and Saunders, (1987-2005) and for playing the role of Edina Monsoon in the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (1992-2012) alongside Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha and June Whitfield.
In 2022, Saunders reunited with French to appear in Kenneth Branagh's Death on the Nile.
