Ivy Marshall is a non-canonical character, created for the 2022 miniseries Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, an adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. Ivy is a young woman from Marchbolt and a friend of Bobby's. She constantly flirts with him, and being employed at the Marchbolt post office, she sends the telegram in which Bobby declines the job offer at a discount, in exchange for a kiss on the cheek. However, she goes out with another village boy for the carnival.
