In the novel Murder in Mesopotamia, Ibrahim is a houseboy at the expedition house at Tell Yarimjah. After the discovery of Louise Leidner's death, David Emmott questions him about whether any strangers came to the house. Ibrahim had been sitting outside the archway with the other servants, and did not see any stranger enter the house.
