Hutchinson's Adventure & Mystery Story Magazine was formed in 1927 from the merger of Hutchinson's Adventure Story Magazine (in print since 1922) and Hutchinson's Mystery Story Magazine (in print since 1923). The joint magazine continued to be published until 1929. It was one of UK publisher Hutchinson's stable of magazines. This one featured, as the title suggests, thrillers, adventure and crime stories, with many reprints of stories by American writers. Besides Adventure and Mystery, reprints of Agatha Christie's stories also appeared in Hutchinson's Magazine which was aimed at a mainly female demographic.
