Hilda Bland

In the novel The Clocks, Hilda Bland (née Martindale) is the second wife of Josiah Bland. She is also the sister of Katherine Martindale.

When a distant relative of Josiah's first wife died, Hilda posed as Valerie to get access to the inheritance.
