In the novel Dead Man's Folly, Henry Folliat was one of the sons of Amy Folliat.

According to old Merdell, Henry was "as nice a young gentleman" as one could wish. He took after his grandfather, Old Squire Folliat, and enjoyed sailing.

He served in the navy, and died during the war when he went down with his ship. His brother James deserted.
