
Miss Marple (Joan Hickson) and Sir Henry (Raymond Francis)
Sir Henry Clithering is the former head of Scotland Yard. He is the godfather of Dermot Craddock, and was an old friend of Elizabeth Temple. He is friends with Jane Marple and welcomes her input into investigations.

Sir Henry exists in the Miss Marple universe but there is an intriguing mention of one "Sir Henry" in relation to a "high official from Scotland Yard" in chapter 16 of Peril at End House, a book in the Poirot universe.
