In Murder Party, the French Télévisions film adaptation of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced, for the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie TV series, Henriette Parisot (a.k.a. Bouboule) is the parallel of the character Amy Murgatroyd in the original novel. She lives with her friend Greenblat (the Miss Hinchcliffe parallel) and are neighbours of Leticia Salvan. Like the portrayal of Amy Murgatroyd in the original, Henriette is also cheery, rather muddled and somewhat of a busybody.
When Henriette sees the advert for a murder party at Leticia's ranch, she insists on going and drags Greenblat along. During the party, she was standing next to the door, and like in the original, she should have been able to see what what was happening in the room when Kurt Wengen shone his torch about. However, when questioned by commissaire Laurence, she sounded rather muddled and uncertain. Later, she was attacked and almost strangled to death while gathering the laundry. However, in this adaptation, she did not die. Alice Avril arrived at the farm to speak to her or Greenblat just in time and spotted her lying on the ground and managed to call an ambulance to send her to the hospital.
Earlier, Henriette and Greenblat had attended the birthday party for Odette. Outside the house, she intercepted the postman and collected the mail for Leticia Salvan. She noticed a letter to Leticia with an Argentinian postmark. She never passed the letter to Leticia. One reason might be that she wants to giv the stamp to Greenblat, who collects stamps. Later, Greenblat found the letter on the bed while packing for things for Henriette's hospital stay. The letter was from one Nadine Combet and established that the Antoinette and Marcel Combet staying at Leticia's ranch were imposters.
Like in other film adaptations, Henriette and Greenblat had a homosexual relationship. According to Greenblat, Henriette was married but left her abusive husband to start a new life with her friend. Greenblat did not know if she had any children as they did not talk about her past.
