Helena Bonham Carter, CBE (born 26 May 1966) is an English actress. Known for playing eccentric characters, she has received numerous accolades including a British Academy Film Award and an International Emmy, and has been nominated for two Academy Awards, four British Academy Television Awards, five Primetime Emmys, and nine Golden Globes.
She is the former partner of Kenneth Branagh.
