Harris (And Then There Were None)

In the novel And Then There Were None, Harris is a police officer. Assistant Commissioner Sir Thomas Legge believed that the one-time Inspector William Blore had committed perjury which led ultimately to the conviction and death of James Landor because Blore had connections with the Purcell gang. Legge assigned Harris to investigate but he was unable to find anything although Legge remained convinced there was something to find.
