In the stage play Go Back for Murder, Girl in a yellow shirt is an unfinished painting by Amyas Crale. It is the portrait of Elsa Greer that Amyas was painting when he died.

The painting, along with Alderbury and some of the furniture, was bought by Meredith Blake after the deaths of Amyas and Caroline.
