In Un meurtre est-il facile?, the France Télévisions film adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder is Easy, for the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie TV series, Ginette Hansel is a worker at the textile factory belonging to Émile Deboucke.

She met commissaire Laurence on the factory floor and asked to speak to him. She told him that just after Michel Loisée was killed in the factory stockroom, she saw Emile Deboucke get into his car in great haste and drive off. She also told Laurence some hearsay. She had heard from Deboucke's secretary Sabine Toulemonde that on the day Michel died, Deboucke had arranged to meet Michel in the stockroom (viewers see Michel calling for Deboucke in the stockroom at the beginning of the episode). Ginette would have told Laurence earlier but Jean Castor, the general manager had told her not to talk about what she had heard or saw and she was afraid.

Looking down on the factory floor, Émile Deboucke and Jean Castor saw Ginette drawing Laurence aside and talking to him. Viewers were thus led to expect that she might be yet another victim in the factory but in the event nothing happened to her. Ginette Hansel is portrayed by Manon Petit. There is no clear parallel of her in the original novel.
