In the L'étrange enlèvement du petit Bruno, the French adaptation of Agatha Christie's The Adventure of Johnnie Waverly for the TV series Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie, Gaspard is the elder son of novelist Eloïse Zennefort from an earlier marriage, and the half-brother of Bruno Zennefort. There is no parallel character in the original story where Johnnie Waverly is an only son. Gaspard is introduced mainly as a plausible suspect of the kidnapper, where he might be working together or in league with his biological father, Roland. He is portrayed as a sinister character. Alice Avril discovers that he comes out into the grounds at night to lay traps. He also tells her that he hates his stepfather Hadrien Debaer. Gaspard also tries to make advances on Alice and later Marlene although they are much older than him and both find him rather creepy. When questioned by commissaire Laurence, he admits everything, from the sending of the notes to working in cahoots with his father to kidnap Bruno and he says he wants to go to jail. However Laurence quickly sees that Gaspard is making things up and dismisses him, much to Gaspard's disappointment.
When Hadrien is confronted by Laurence towards the end of the episode, he sees that the game is up and tries to take Gaspard hostage. However, Gaspard is able to disarm Hadrien and Laurence is able to move in to pin Hadrien down and arrest him. Gaspard is portrayed by Victor Le Blond.
