Frederick Charles Jones (12 September 1927 - 9 July 2019) was an English actor. A seasoned character actor with a nearly six decade career, he is best known for his roles as Bytes in The Elephant Man, and Sandy Thomas in Emmerdale. He originated the role of Sir in the acclaimed play The Dresser.
He was the father of Toby Jones.
