Murder on the Orient Express is a stage adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel Murder on the Orient Express made by American playwright Ken Ludwig. It was made at the request of the Agatha Christie Estate and premiered at the McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey, on the 14 March 2017. The play was directed by Emily Mann.

The play is directed by Katharina Thalbach, who also portrays Hercule Poirot. Her daughter and granddaughter also performs in the play. As well as Poirot being played by a woman, Mrs Hubbard is played by a man in drag (Christoph Marti).

The director is Jonathan Church and the designer is Robert Jones.
The play is performed at Chichester Festival Theatre from 13 May to 4 June. After that the play transfers to the Theatre Royal, Bath, where it will run from 9 to 25 June.
