In the radio play Personal Call, Fay Mortimer is the name of a mysterious woman telephoning James Brent. James' wife becomes suspicious, when listening in on the call. When confronting her husband Pam is told that “Fay” is the name James used to call his deceased first wife, even though Pam knows her name was Florence.
Later Pam receives a call from Fay warning her not to go to Paris with James.
