Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine is an American digest size fiction magazine specializing in reprints of crime fiction, particularly detective fiction, and mystery fiction. Launched in fall 1941 by Mercury Press, EQMM is named after the fictitious author Ellery Queen, who wrote novels and short stories about a fictional detective named Ellery Queen.
There are also Australian and U.K. editions which usually carry the same content but which come out a few months later.
From 1960 to 1989, anthologies of short stories were also published. These Were annuals until 1963 after which they became twice yearly.
