Agatha Christie Wiki

Dr Nolan is a character in the stage plays Fiddlers Five and Fiddlers Three. He has the same role in both versions of the play. He's a doctor who makes a brief appearance towards the end of Act I to pronounce the elder Panhacker dead. Stage directions do not specify how the doctor is to be portrayed beyond saying that he is an elderly man.

Barry Howard who played the part of Dr Nolan in the 1971 tour of Fiddlers Five portrayed him as "a long bearded Pakistani doctor", which a reviewer considered to be "one of the brightest features" of the performance.[1]
