Dorothy (The Thumb Mark of St. Peter)

In the short story The Thumb Mark of St. Peter, Dorothy was the house-parlourmaid of Mabel and Geoffrey Denman. When Geoffrey Denham believed he was poisoned with atropine and asked for the antidote "pilocarpine", Dorothy thought he was asking for a "pile of carp".
