Don Fernando Ferrarez

In the short story Mr Eastwood's Adventure, Carmen Ferrarez claims to be the daughter of one Don Fernando Ferrarez, a political refugee from Spain. It later transpires that this entire backstory is completely made up in order to elicit sympathy and cooperation from Anthony Eastwood. Since Carmen Ferrarez is a false name used by a woman who is actually born in Hampstead, Don Fernando mostly doesn't exist at all.
