In Ding Dingue Dong, the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie adaptation of Evil Under the Sun, Dominique Lebrun is the head nurse at the Clinique des Lilas and may considered a vague parallel of Mrs Castle in that she manages the patients at the clinic.
Dominique also has some plot roles which were given to Rosamund Darnley in the original in that she is attracted to is attracted to Louis Rodier, the Kenneth Marshall parallel. Dominique also tried to give Rodier an alibi, claiming that she had heard his dictaphone running which meant that he was transcribing patient interviews during the time of the murder. This is similar to Miss Darnley who claimed to have heard Marshall typing. This combination of features from Mrs Castle and Rosamund Darnley makes Dominque somewhat reminiscent of the non-canonical hybrid character Daphne Castle created for the 1982 Evil Under the Sun film. However, unlike Daphne Castle, Dominique does not befriend Rodier's daughter Adele Rodier, the Linda Marshall parallel. This role is given to Alice Avril.
Dominique Lebrun was portrayed by Barbara Monin.
