Cynthia is a non-canonical character created for the 2013 ITV adaptation of Greenshaw's Folly. When Miss Greenshaw takes Louisa Oxley on as a secretary, she says she will pay her the same as "that girl at the solicitor's" named Cynthia. The context suggests that Cynthia is one of her former secretaries and perhaps also someone whom Miss Greenshaw extended a helping hand to. Both Mrs Cresswell the housekeeper and Walter Cracken the butler agreed that Miss Greenshaw gave help to many people. Cynthia is mentioned only and does not appear on screen.
