In the novel Death in the Clouds, the Crown and Feathers is a public house. Albert Davis, a steward on the flight where Madame Giselle was killed, is often to be found at the pub as he courts Old Johnson's daughter, who is working as a barmaid there. Poirot went to the Crown and Feathers and met Davis at the bar of the pub and interviewed him about his account of the flight.
