In the novel The Secret of Chimneys, Count Stylptitch was the Herzoslovakian prime minister twice. He was politically involved in much of what happened in the Balkans and the Near East. He wrote his memoirs, wich might cause political scandal if published.
He fled Herzoslovakia after the revolution and settled down in Paris, where he also died.
