Comrades of the Red Hand

In the novel The Secret of Chimneys, The Comrades of the Red Hand is a Herzoslovakian revolutionary organisation dedicated to overthrowing the monarchy of the kingdom. Some time before the events in the book, they had managed to forment a revolution which resulted in the assassination of King Nicholas IV. They then worked to prevent the monarchy being restored.
