In the short story How Does Your Garden Grow?, Charman's Green is a village in Buckinghamshire. The village is located about half a hour from the Baker Street station. One of the houses, Rosebank, was the home of Amelia Barrowby. There is a tearoom in the village, called the Green Cat. The village also has a fishmonger.
In the 1991 ITV film adaptation of How Does Your Garden Grow?, the location of the village is changed. Here Miss Lemon says that it is to the south of London, on the borders of Surrey.
