Charles Vanstone is a non-canonical character created for the ITV 2006 adaptation of Sleeping Murder. Mr Vanstone is the head of Vanstone International and the fiancé of Gwenda Halliday. When Gwen travels to England, he has to stay behind in India to conduct business.
In the original novel, Gwenda is married to Giles Reed.
