In the novel The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side, Carrisbrook Close is one of the streets in The Development in St. Mary Mead. Lily Price and Harry are looking at a nearly complete house on the street. This close was located on the edge of the housing estate. The houses were apparently slightly larger, with two more rooms. They had a view of the hills and one could almost see the reservoir. Rounding the corner of Carrisbrook Close brought one to Arlington Close.
