In Yokoku Satsujin, the 2019 TV Asahi Japanese adaptation of A Murder is Announced, Burui Sakurako (武類桜 - Sakurako Burui in Western format) is the wife of Burui Tomekurou "Buruku". She has the nickname "Cherry", which is a translation of her Japanese first name. She is the parallel of Laura Easterbrook from the original novel. She and her husband are friends of the residents of Komichi-no-yakata (Little Hall - "Little Paddocks").
"Cherry" is portrayed by Tajima Reiko (田島令子).
