Booker Books is part of Booker Group Limited, a British food wholesale operator. In 1968 Agatha Christie sold 51% of Agatha Christie Limited to the group. By 1977 they owned 64% of ACL. In 1998 Booker Books sold their stocks in ACL to Chorion.[1] In 1969 Booker Books established the literary award commonly known as "The Booker Prize".
