Bertram's Hotel is an Edwardian hotel on Pond Street in London's West End, with a history dating back to the 1840s. Jane Marple visited the hotel both in her youth and much later in life. Nothing appeared to have changed, which puzzled Miss Marple.
It turns out that the hotel had turned into a front for criminal activities.
