Behind the Screen: Agatha Christie is a 2015 re-enactment of Behind the Screen, a radio series which was broadcast in 1930. Behind the Screen was a collaborative detective serial written by members of the Detection Club and first broadcast in six instalments on the BBC National Programme in 1930, with each contributor reading his (or her) own part of the story. Agatha Christie wrote and read episode 2.
As the original recordings are no longer available, a re-enactment was produced, with 6 different readers representing the changes in story-teller for each of the six episodes. The re-enactment was produced by Pier Productions. Scripts and abridgements were by John Peacock and the series was produced by David Blount. The series was first released in 2015 on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
