Basil Chester

In the short story Problem at Pollensa Bay, Basil Chester is the son of Mrs Adela Chester. They live in Holm Park, Devon. He had done well at school and at one tune had thought of becoming an archaeologist. However, recently, after coming to Pollensa, he had met and become engaged to Betty Gregg whom Mrs Chester considered unsuitable.
