In the novel At Bertram's Hotel, Miss Marple had many fond memories of people from her past while wandering through the streets of London. One such person was Aunt Helen. At Westbourne Grove, Miss Marple tried to look for the shop "Bradley's" because Aunt Helen had always gone there about her sealskin coat. Miss Marple failed to find the shop as it was probably closed. While visiting the “Army & Navy Stores”, Miss Marple also recalled how Aunt Helen would take her there, often spending hours shopping at the grocery department with one of her favourite shop assistants. Thereafter, Aunt Helen would take her to the restaurant on the fourth floor for lunch, followed by strawberry ice. They would then buy half a pound of coffee chocolate cream and go for a matinee.
